This project took some on-the-feet thinking. I have a great appreciation for historical brands and I find the history fascinating, which inspired this project around a concept for churches. Originally, I had aimed to contact Churches and ask to borrow some shoes, but for some reason, they declined which led me the the area of trying to find other shoes that were close enough to Churches. The problem was I couldn’t find anything that sold the image of Church's shoes. That was when I came up with the campaign name “The Missing Piece”, and had all my models wear suits with no shoes which then became the focus point and made this quite memorable.
