TMOC BGE better known as “The Meaning of Colour, Behind Green Eyes”, is a publication I have realised about Creative Directory through my perspective as someone who is colourblind. It was a project that showed my editorials as a collaboration with photographer Biff Cross who shot the images. I wanted to explain how even though I have this way of seeing, it wasn’t a disadvantage.
Sure, I struggle to see most colours, I just don’t focus on colours at all will I'm directing or producing content, and if I do see colours, well they’re the colours I know that looks good to me. This way of work has helped me find a higher level of appreciation for my work. I’m less critical in areas I would normally worried about revolving around colours, which has made me enjoy my practice much more.
Following on with the meaning of colour this chapter takes a look into editorial based on the childhood memories of playing poker with friends as a kid.
